SUHSD Teachers, you are invited to a hands-on technology conference designed and conducted by our own SUHSD teachers.
Here is your chance to discuss, learn and practice in a supportive, hands-on environment. Sign-up only for the sessions you want. Space is limited. You will be paid for each technology session you attend. Chromebooks will be provided, but if you want, bring your own laptop/tablet/Chromebook.
Once you create an account and log-in, click on the little circle to the left of the session name to add to your personalized schedule.

Prerequisite: Participants will need to know how to create a Google Slides presentation.
Description: Attendees will learn how to make lesson more engaging using the tool Nearpod, which allows students to follow along and interact with Presentations using any device. Participants will be able to search for free lessons and create their own. They will learn how to embed multiple-choice quizzes, polls, draw-its (students write directly on slide), and open-ended questions into their slide shows.
Objectives: Participants will be able to create a Nearpod account and search for lessons that have already been created. They will be able to create their own slide show with activities like quizzes, polls, draw-its, and open ended questions. Also, they will know how to add Powerpoints/Googleslides, videos, audio clips, and PDF files into their slide.
