Description: Harnessing the Robust Nature of Your Library's Databases: Tired of wading through hundreds of google searches to find just the right source for your paper? This one-hour lesson will help teachers search for scholarly and legitimate sources on their school library's SIRs databases--and then teach it to their students. APA and MLA citations are available at the click of the mouse.
Objectives: Teachers will save valuable time in teaching the research process to their students by using a vetted series of sites and sources from the databases. Teachers can expect works cited pages that are properly sourced and composed. Teachers will learn the value of keyword searching vs searching by subject.
