SUHSD Tech Showcase 2017 has ended
SUHSD Teachers, you are invited to a hands-on technology conference designed and conducted by our own SUHSD teachers.

Here is your chance to discuss, learn and practice in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Sign-up only for the sessions you want.  Space is limited.
You will be paid for each technology session you attend.
Chromebooks will be provided, but if you want, bring your own laptop/tablet/Chromebook.

Prerequisites:
Some familiarity with digital tools will facilitate the design process for our ePortfolios, and help us develop protocols and anticipate logistical issues.

Description:

ePortfolios are a superb way for students to demonstrate their growth and to showcase both their skills and their learning, while providing a powerful tool for authentic assessment. If you agree that creating and maintaining an ePortfolio is an idea whose time has officially come for SUHSD, then your help is needed! Join us as we roll up our sleeves and co-create an ePortfolio format that will serve our students well as they become fluent 21st century learners.

Objectives:
Teachers will:
  • Review various purposes and formats for ePortfolios across all content areas 
  • Share our practices of (or ideas for) portfolio development in our respective subject areas & grade levels 
  • Harness Design Thinking concepts to co-create optimal ePortfolio design(s) and best practices for ePortfolio development across the curriculum and across grade levels
