Here is your chance to discuss, learn and practice in a supportive, hands-on environment. Sign-up only for the sessions you want. Space is limited. You will be paid for each technology session you attend. Chromebooks will be provided, but if you want, bring your own laptop/tablet/Chromebook.

Prerequisites: Teachers should have a basic understanding of being able to open and copy a google doc. More advanced features will be available for those who have higher level of understanding for google docs.
Description: Dread Cornell Note taking? Think of it as a boring way to waste class time? Not anymore! During this session we will be using Google Docs to convert standard cornell notes to a digital format that will be interactive to increase student motivation. This session will walk through how to revise cornell notes in google docs using both the editing mode as well as the more advanced suggestion mode. This will include how to share notes between students and have them gain experience in revising someone elses notes. Anyone of any experience level can learn and extend upon this activity!
Objectives: Teacher will understand the revision process of cornell notes and why it is important for student information retention. Teacher will be able to go through the revision process for cornell notes on google docs using editing mode. Teachers will be able to share notes and revise another students notes using suggestion mode.
